MTI completes Palestine project, signs-up in Turkmenistan

MTI Consulting and their associates in Palestine were awarded an USAID/DAI project in July last year. The project which entailed an economic feasibility study for the Sludge and the Stone Industry in Palestine was successfully completed this month.

MTI executed this project in association with Expoworks plus, an associate of MTI in Palestine and IMM Carrara, an Italian firm well recognized in the international stone industry. The collaboration with these organizations was pivotal to the success of the study as it was important to have a pulse in Palestine as well as the technical expertise in the industry.

Meanwhile, MTI Consulting has appointed MCT Agency as an Associate in Turkmenistan.  In 2011, Turkmenistan’s economy was among the fastest growing economies in the world - GDP grew by 14.7 per cent, driven by increasing hydrocarbon production and surging public infrastructure spending.  The strong external balance was sustained by the increased gas exports to China as well as growing exports of oil. Turkmenistan deepened relations with South Asia, in particular, India and Pakistan by carrying out joint work on a large energy project.

MTI Consulting has worked on assignments across emerging markets in Asian, Middle East and African regions, which includes projects carried for multi-national and regional companies and agencies in  Algeria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordon, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines and Syria.
